Gunmen attacks across parts of Plateau State in the past three days have left not less than seven persons dead in separate operations.
Two suspected miners and more than 20 hectares of farmland were also destroyed.
In a statement signed by Rwang Tengwong, National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Moulders Association (BYM), the group said fresh killings and destruction of farmlands had left families grieving and communities living in fear.
The group said Phillip Luka, a 25-year-old man, and Sunday John, a 34-year-old, were killed on Thursday at a mining site in Kworos Gangare, Barkin Ladi LGA.
The BYM also said farmlands in Jol, Riyom, Exland, Gashish, Rapwomol, and Dorowa Babuje were destroyed the same day.
The group said that the destruction threatened the livelihoods and food security of affected families.
Tengwong said that two people were killed at Nghar, Exland, in Gashish District, while three others were killed at Gassa, Barkin Ladi.
The group said that the three victims were Ishaya Pam Dung, 47; Barnabas Gyang Jack, 23; and Manasseh Luka Mushwer, 26.
Tengwong said that the death toll stood at seven, which included two miners at Kworos Gangare, two people at Nghar, Exland, and three others at Gassa.
The BYM said that the incidents occurred despite the 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew imposed in Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu LGAs.
The group criticised the effectiveness of the existing security measures, calling on security agencies to take immediate action to prevent further attacks.
Tengwong said authorities should move beyond responding to attacks after they occur.
The BYM said credible intelligence operations should identify and dismantle alleged criminal hides-out and operational enclaves. The group called on the government to treat the reported destruction of farmlands as a serious threat to food security.
It further called on the National Assembly, National Human Rights Commission, humanitarian agencies and international organisations to monitor the security and humanitarian situation in Plateau State and support efforts to assist affected farmers.

Added BYM: “Every life lost leaves a family devastated”.
Every farm destroyed pushes affected families closer to hunger and poverty, the group lamented.
