Mrs. Uju Ohanneye Kennedy, Minister of Women Affairs, was during the week, issued a seven-day ultimatum to withdraw her statement against the marriage of 100 banditry-induced orphaned girls in Niger State. Dr. Umar Farouk, Director-General of the Niger State Bureau for Religious Affairs and Secretary of the state Imam Forum, gave the charge during a press conference at Shariah Commission premises in Minna, the state capital.
