Yusuf Buhari, son of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has picked the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency of Katsina State.
Buhari polled 5,849 votes to defeat Auwal Lawal Daura, who got 21 votes.
As a result of the development, Yusuf Buhari emerged as the APC candidate for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency seat for the 2027 general elections.
The APC House of Representatives primary elections were scheduled to take place across the country on Saturday.
