The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, TLCCRM, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has called on Nigerians and the world at large to shun sin and amend their ways so that God can dwell with the people and also solve all the problems confronting the human race.

Muoka who gave this charge during the church’s Easter crusade tagged “Covenant of peace and blessing” held recently at the church’s Crusade Ground, Ijesha, Lagos said if man would draw closer to God and also do his will, all problems which he termed man-made will be resolved.

“Seeing that Jesus Christ has taken away all our sorrows by his death and resurrection, my advice to Nigerians is that they should all come to Christ. According to his invitation; he says ‘come unto me all you that labour and I will give you rest.’

“There is a lot of problems confronting our nation, and it’s only in Christ that we have freedom and solutions. Everyone should give their life to Christ, amend their ways and begin to live their life according to the will of God.

“I believe Nigeria’s problem and the problem of the world which is man-made can be solved if all over would give their life to Christ because God has solution to the sin of Adam that brought suffering to humanity through Jesus Christ. They should embrace Christ so that all their problems will be over, and they can live a victorious life and overcome all the challenges in this life”, he said.

Speaking on the significance of Easter, he said “Over 2000 years ago, Christ came and paid the price for our sins. He suffered for us, he was killed, buried, and on the third day he rose from death for our justification; that is why Christians all over the world are celebrating Easter. Without this event, there wouldn’t been salvation for mankind. Man had right to salvation today because of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.

“In this programme, we want to make people know that Christ’s death earns us victory over all our problems. In him, our problems are over because Christ has carried away our sorrow, Christ has taken away our sin. So, whoever give their life to Christ, that person has got eternal solution, freedom over sin and over affliction of the Devil.

On the level of insecurity in the country, the G.O. said: “Except the Lord builds a house, the Bible says the builders build in vain. All I want to point out is that the solution to man’s problem is only through Jesus Christ.

“We must embrace Christ, and be born again. If the people give their life to Jesus Christ, every body will live in the fear of God and nobody will be given to vices like killing, robbery and other forms of wickedness. If everyone repents, problems will be resolved, but if we are trying to bank on human security, it has limitations. Though it is needed, it has limitations; it fails if Christ is not there”, he said.

On the impact of the crusades held in the church, he said: “The crusades we are having regularly here is changing the lives of people in a positive way. That is why you can hear the various testimonies given by people who God has deliver from their afflictions.”

The cleric advised the government, as well as citizens to pray for God’s intervention so that Leah Sharibu and others will be freed by those holding them in captivity. “My advice is to everyone not just the government. Everyone including the leaders should pray that God should intervene in this matter. This issue concerns everyone of us, so, everybody should pray so that the people holding Leah Sharibu and others in captivity will release them and they will go back to their family. Only God can do it”, he said.
