All ad-hoc committees of the House of Representatives were Sunday announced desolved with immediate effect. Abbas Tajudeen, Speaker of the House made this announcement in a statement made available to newsmen by Sidi Ibrahim, Clerk to the House, which explained that the decision was in line with the Order 18, Rule 5 of the Standing Orders of the House.
