The review of Nigeria’s 26-year-old telecommunications policy, has begun, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), announced last Wednesday. Hadiza Usman, Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, made this disclosure while speaking at the national telecommunications policy review workshop in Lagos, saying the current framework no longer reflected the realities of the country’s fast-changing digital economy.
