The Release Of Freshness

Esther 8:1-16, John 12:26

God’s creation is about transformation – leaving the old and becoming new. “If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me…and where I am, My servant also will be” (John 12:26). The Jews in Esther’s time faced destruction, but God’s plan brought reversal and joy.

In a world of uncertainty, God’s purpose stands. The Jews were hated for their faith in Jehovah (Esther 3:8), yet God worked through Esther and Mordecai to bring deliverance. “The king loved Mordecai…and the Jews had light, gladness, joy, and honor” (Esther 8:15-16).

God’s Sovereign Plan

  • Mordecai’s faithfulness led to promotion (Esther 6:11).
  • Esther’s courage led to salvation for Israel (Esther 7:3-6).
  • Jesus’ obedience led to our redemption (John 12:27-32).

Living for God’s Kingdom

  • Like Mordecai, trust God’s plan amidst challenges (Esther 4:14).
  • Like Esther, courageously stand for God’s will (Esther 4:16).
  • Like Jesus, follow God’s purpose, bringing light to the world (John 12:26).

Applying God’s Word

  • Are you hearing God’s voice amidst life’s noise?
  • How are you living for God’s Kingdom in your workplace, relationships, and decisions?
  • Are you allowing God’s freshness to transform you? (Psalm 51:10-12)

The Urgency of Now
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Jesus is still receiving people into His Kingdom.

Will you surrender to Him? “Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved” (Romans 10:13). Amen.
