Floor of the Senate
The Senate on Monday, August 7, 2023, confirmed 45 of President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominations as cabinet members during its session, after completing their screening.
The nominations were put to a series of voice votes by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
The announcement of the confirmation came more than a week after Tinubu sent a list 28 to the red chamber for approval on July 27.
