Amid ‘grumbling’ by some individuals that he is visibly gravitating towards Igbo people, music act, David Adeleke widely known as Davido, has said he is Igbo by blood.
The singer stated this while responding to a troller who warned him over his association with Igbo folks.
The troller claimed that he could be betrayed by his Igbo associates, being a Yoruba man.
Wrote X user, Yakbel: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man”.
However, responding, Davido said he is Igbo himself.
Wrote he: “Lol. I am Igbo by blood”.
