Traditional in Anambra State Thursday, May 8, conferred on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a traditional chieftaincy title during his one-day working visit to the State.
The title, Dike Si Mba, meaning “Hero from Another Land”, was bestowed upon the President by traditional rulers in the state, led by the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi.
Posted Fredrick Nwabufo, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Engagement, while sharing the development on X: “President Bola Tinubu has just been conferred with the chieftaincy title of Dike Si-mba of Anambra – the Mighty warrior”.
The event took place in Awka, the State capital, during Tinubu’s visit where he also commissioned several key projects initiated by Governor Chukwuma Soludo. Among the projects was Anambra State’s first-ever Government House, a significant achievement more than 30 years after the State was created.
