Revelation 21:1-8. Hebrew 9:27.
There is always a time when we are required to do a thing. It may be immergent or not, but the truth is that there will always be a moment when we are expected to do something we’ve left undone.
We at times go through life, not bothered about what comes after. For a lot of us, no matter what religious persuasion we affiliate ourselves with, we sleep, wake up the next day, and life goes on. This is on a constant repeat. Sleep, wake up, spend the day, sleep again, and the circle goes on. Have we ever put a thought to what comes after? When we read the above-mentioned passages of scriptures, we are made to remember that the earth will one day come to an end, and everything in it will also cease to function. Then, the God of all eternity will require us, now reduced to spirits, to account for all the things we had done in our lives as human beings. I am afraid of that day . That explains why I am doing everything possible to be on the side of God. How about you?
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
” And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem , coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:1-2.
This is the preparation of the bride, and it tells us that the time of that coming is at hand. Yes, the message is certain . However, the time of the appearance is not given, but there is always a period of time given to all humans to prepare for the coming of the LORD. And that is the period we are enjoying now. The world is aware of the Soon Coming King. As He comes, He will wipe away all tears from the face of man, give unto him that thirst a fountain of water of life freely, and the Almighty God shall be their God and they shall be His people.
” But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death ” Revelation 21:8.
That is the second death that will fall upon all people who didn’t embrace the Lordship of Jesus Christ. And I ask you : what are you waiting for? The time of repentance is now.
The period of repentance can not be extended beyond what it is. That is why you must make haste while the day lasts . The person who is asking for grace should use the one available now. The person who is seeking a true way should heartily apply his thoughts and mind to the choice available now. The man and the woman that are rolling around should advise themselves and come to the knowledge of the truth because time is short. The period of time is running out , and the judgement is closing in very fast.
For the avoidance of doubt, there are certain things that do not matter to God. Yes, some people say that they will not bother about what happens after their death. Or that they will not worry about what happens to them if they are well buried. Some even say that they are not looking for anything after death because they are not interested in what happens.
They are to worry when the occasion comes because it is ” of terrible consequence.” That is why God has raised up a number of ministers in human flesh to ensure that everyone hears this message . As you read, dear friend, do not despise it. It is appointed unto man to die once. Just once and thereafter the judgement. What will be your report? Repent now and ammend your ways. Turn to your Maker. Accept the escape he provided by giving His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Dont delay until it’s too late. May the good LORD bless you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
