Ahmed Ali, Borno State commissioner for Finance has died.
Usman Tar, the State commissioner for Information and Internal Security, confirmed Ali’s death in a statement on Monday.
He said the deceased was found dead in his room on Monday morning and would be buried at 5:00 p.m.
Tar said the burial rites would be conducted at the late Commissioner’s family house at Damboa Road, behind Indimi’s residence in Borno.
Babagana Zulum, Governor of Borno State, had recently lost two members of his cabinet within one year.
Isah Gusau, Special Adviser on public relations and strategy to the governor, died in January, after battling a heart ailment.
