An online debate got sparked by Usman Ododo, Kogi State Governor, after he attended a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ gala night in Taraba State on Friday.
Ododo, seen in a photograph posted by Ahmadu Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, on X on Saturday, wore similar attire to his colleagues in the PDP.
Said Fintiri in the post: “Yesterday, after our PDP Governors Forum meeting, Agbu Kefas hosted a vibrant Gala Night showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Taraba.
“From the colourful displays to the captivating performances, it was truly a night to remember. Thank you, Taraba, for your warm hospitality!”
The PDP governors’ gala night was on the same day the Supreme Court affirmed the election victory of Ododo, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State.
The apex court had dismissed the appeal of Murtala Ajaka, governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the State, who had challenged Ododo’s victory.
Though, Ododo attended a wedding ceremony of the daughter of the Taraba State governor, his presence among the PDP governors has elicited reactions online.
