Members of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Renewal Movement (TLCCRM) have been asked to be dangerous to danger, and confront headlong awkward and evil situations they might fall into, and declare themselves Chosen three times in the face of any danger in order to prevail at all times.
The charge was given by Pastor Lazarus Muoka, General Overseer of TLCCRM, during the church’s just concluded two-day international crusade tagged, “And the enemies submitted”, held at the Chosen Revival Ground, Ijesha, Lagos.
Muoka said the enemy was holding lots of people down because they did not know what to do, and he thanked God for the life of those who had come to the programme to seek for deliverance and freedom from the problems confronting them.
Said he: “No matter the places you have gone to find solution to your problems, since you have come here, this is your last busstop because you have been drawn to me, a specialist in working wonders. In this programme, your enemies must submit”.
On Elijah, Moses and other people in scripture God used to solve His people’s problems, Muoka assured the afflicted that whatever they were passing through should not survive the programme, adding that it was because of people like them that God raised him up to deal with their problems.
Said he: “Whatever they are using to torment you physically, spiritually, that evil must surrender, the enemy must submit, and you will go home victorious with songs of joy because what God cannot do does not exist. Whatever problem you brought here today, that problem will bow before God”.
The GO said that the people speaking against the Chosen were those that needed the Chosen most, adding that so many people speaking against the church were not wise because they failed to realise that the spirit of God was with the Chosen people.
Representing Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State governor, Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the governor said the peace, growth and development being experienced in the state was as a result of the persistent prayers, supplication to God concerning the government and the state.
Submitted he: “Indeed, the prayers of the righteous availeth much”.
He said the theme of the crusade; ‘And the Enemies submitted’, was a powerful declaration of faith, which reminded the people that with God’s help, they would overcome the challenges they faced as individuals, community and state.
He said the theme for the programme also reflected total submission of the people to the power and authority of God in all aspects of their lives.
Said he: “This crusade comes at a time when fervent prayers are needed to help us endure the challenges we may face for the necessary policies being implemented by the government for the prosperity and economic growth of the state.
“We therefore corvette your prayers so that we would achieve the aim of these policies. We also recognise the social role that the church plays in embracing peace and growth. Let us continue to pray that the challenges we face in Lagos and in Nigeria will be surmounted. We ask for more of your unwavering commitment, love, peace towards the growth of the state”.
High points of the event included electrifying messages from the GO, rendition of songs by the different choirs of the church, deliverance session, as well as testimonies from people who received healing from various ailments and infirmities. Noteworthy was the case of a 40-year-old born deaf and dumb person, among others.
