Zuri Marley, grand-daughter of the legendary Jamaican reggae icon, Bob Marley, has expressed her vision of a collaboration between her late grand-father and Nigerian music act, Burna Boy.

Zuri made this revelation at the London premiere of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’, stating that Burna Boy was the only musician she would have cherished to see working alongside her grand-father.

Stated Zuri while sharing her thoughts during the premiere: “The person who I would want my grandpa [Bob Marley] to collaborate with is Burna Boy. I had to think about it. I went backstage and I was like, ‘Burna Boy. Africa Unite’”.

This announcement came in light of the soundtrack EP of the music biopic ‘Bob Marley: One Love’, which features two Nigerian artistes, Wizkid and Bloody Civilian.

Zuri Marley’s inspiring words highlights a cross-generational connection, embodying the enduring impact and global reach of her grand-father’s legacy in the world of music.
