Victor Osimhen is now fit to be fielded in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final clash against South Africa. Babafemi Raji, Super Eagles media officer, announced the development in a statement on Tuesday.
The team had on Monday, announced that Osimhen had suffered abdominal discomfort, making his participation in the game against the Bafana Bafana doubtful.
Osimhen was placed under the medical team’s care in Abidjan while the rest of the squad travelled to Buoake for the match.
Providing an update on the situation, Raji said Osimhen had been passed fit and available for selection in the game against Bafana Bafana.
He added that the striker had joined up and trained with the rest of the squad in Buoake.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face South Africa on Wednesday (today) at the Stade de la Prix, Buoake in a match billed for 6:00 pm.
