Eriemeghe-Ashibuogwu, COSON Boss, In Nairobi For Copyright Collective Mgt Master Class

Mrs. Bernice Eriemeghe-Ashibuogwu, General Manager, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), has just arrived Nairobi Kenya to participate in the Master Class programme for Chief Executive Officers of CMOs on Collective Management of Copyright and Related Rights.

The week-long programme which brings together CEOs of the major copyright collective management organisations in Africa, including COSON, Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organisation, is being sponsored by the Norwegian Copyright Development Association (NORCODE).

Being facilitated by the Finish-born Tarja Koskinen Olson, one of the most respected experts in the world of copyright, the Master-Class will also have such key participants as Jotam Matariro, CEO of CAPPASO in South Africa; Ruth Simujangombe, CEO of ZARRSO in Zambia; Jane Nambasa, CEO of UFM in Uganda; Dr. Mbugua Njoroge, CEO of KAMP in Kenya, etc.

Mrs. Bernice Eriemeghe Ashibuogwu, a key participant in the programme, is a graduate of Accounting with an MBA, and belongs to several professional bodies amongst which are the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria (MILRM).

The widely travelled COSON CEO who is a passionate Rotarian and who speaks fluent French, has had significant international work experience especially in France. For several years, she was Head of Finance & Administration at COSON
