Work on ‘One Woman’, Adekunle Gold, Nigerian singer’s single featuring Ty Dolla $ign, the US rapper is through.
The song, produced by Blaise Bears, is the fourth track off ‘Catch Me If You Can’, his fourth studio album, which was released in February.
The under three-minute video highlights the beauty of black women as well as exhibiting Adekunle’s evolution into a global music act and fashion icon.
The video opens with an aesthetic view of nature displayed in the background, while the camera does justice by portraying the vixens who appear in their well-embellished costumes.
Adekunle thereafter kicks off the intro with his sonorous voice, as he describes himself as a “one-woman man,” while $ign further adds colour to the visuals with his catchy lyrics.
Sings Gold: “Don’t want nobody but my boo-thang/ We kicking shit like Lui Kang/ She 100, she the truth aye/ And I’m a W like Wu Tang/ And you’re sweet like pina colade/ Love that Bottega”.
Gold gained popularity after putting out ‘Sade’, the 2015 hit single which is a highlife cover of One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life’.
He has won numerous awards and recognition since then.
