Journalists and spectators will not be at the venue of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Nigeria and Sierra Leone. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) gave the directive through the Nigeria Football Federation’s Director of Competitions, Bola Oyeyode in a statement issued on Monday by Ademola Olajire, the Federation’s Spokesman.

Offered the statement: “We would like to inform the general public that no journalists or spectators would be allowed inside the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City for Friday’s 2022 AFCON qualifying match between the Super Eagles and Sierra Leone Stars.

“Virtual press conference if possible will be from media officers from both teams only while only TV channels with the rights will be allowed flash interviews.

“Also, only photographers of participating teams would be allowed into the venue.

“Lastly only individuals accredited by the NFF would be allowed inside the Stadium for the match”.
