The board of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS) was on Monday sacked with immediate effect.
An impeccable source disclosed that the cleanout was effected following summon of the erstwhile chairman to the Government House on Monday.
The source confided that the development caught everyone unawares, stating that the board chairman and directors were told to vacate offices within 10 minutes by a Government delegation that followed the former chairman to the office.
