Nigeria’s confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday hit 8,915, with additional 182 new infections. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) gave the new figures through its Twitter handle @NCDCgov on Thursday night.
Lagos, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria has 111 out of the 182 new casesjust as the rest are shared by 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The number of discharged patients stand at 2,592 while the number of deaths resulting from the virus is 259.
