The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, TLCCRM Pastor Lazarus Muoka has tasked members to always stand their ground, and confront their enemies, especially those using motor bike to snatch handbags and other possessions from people.
Giving this charge at the two-day end of the year crusade of the church tagged “Only God Can Do This”, held at the Chosen Revival Ground, Ijesha Lagos, Pastor Muoka encouraged the church members to capture bag snatchers, as well as other assailants who plan to attack them, adding that they (Chosen members) should capture, as well as disarm the robbers of whatever weapon they are using to rob.
Said he: “I heard that some motor bike people are snatching people’s bags. I want us to catch them from today, anywhere. Don’t fear their gun. Tell them who you are, you should not run from them. Do not be afraid for there is nothing to fear because the bible tells us that if God be for us, no one can be against us.
“The bible also says ‘touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.’ It also tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. The word of God also says ‘Behold I give unto you power to thread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the powers, and nothing by any means shall hurt you. Power belongs to God, and He has made the impossibility to become possible.”
While noting that man is limited in so many things and can only survive problems that come his way when he has a close relationship with God, the cleric urged Nigerians to stay connected to God, so as to combat the teeming problems facing the country.
Said Muoka: “We should realize that man is limited in so many things. He is limited in sight; he doesn’t see beyond where he is. Man is limited in wisdom; he doesn’t know everything. Man is limited in power; he cannot fight all the forces militating against him, except he is well connected to God.
“If you want to fight with enemies, you must depend on God with faith and spirituality. God is the only one that can fight our battle. When we pray, God takes over our battle and crushes every evil tormenting us”.
While assuring that God is always ready and willing to come to his people’s aid in times of adversity, he advised Nigerians to be obedient to the word of God, as well as worship him in spirit and in truth.
Assured he: “Just like in the times of old, God is always ready to fight the battle of His people. He is also willing to fight for you, but you must be truly be obedient to His words. You may have battles, but it is not yours to fight; cast all your battle upon God, and He will fight on your behalf”.
Speaking on impossible situations and God’s intervention, the cleric noted that all the people who were struck with one infirmity or the other that came in contact with Jesus in the bible, were all healed of their infirmities.
said the cleric: “All the multitude of people who came in contact with Jesus did not go back without being healed of their infirmities. Even in Luke chapter seven, verse 12 to 16, when Jesus healed the dead young man, his people’s weeping turned to celebration. The bible tells us in Mark chapter nine, verse 32 that all things are possible to them that believe”.
He urged the people to see this end of the year season as a period to appreciate God, as well drawing closer to God, and not a time for funfair.
Stated he: “This end of the year season is a season for people to appreciate God and draw closer to him. So also, this end of the year programme of the church is a special programme for us to come and appreciate what God has done for us from the beginning of the year to this point in our lives. God has done so much for us from the start of this year 2019 to the end of the year. He has turned so many impossibilities in our life to possibilities. He is the God that never changes, and is still beckoning and willing to tend to every outstanding need which we have failed to realize. Through this programme, God is ready to take care of all lapses in our lives. Only God can do this for us; God will take care of every need of his people”.
