Koffi Tha Guru
Comedian extra-ordinaire, Koffi Tha Guru is set to premiere his latest movie “Mumble Jumble” on June 12 at the Muson Centre. Tagged Corporate Special, it will be screening to audiences at 12noon, 3pm and 7pm. A lot of goodies shall be given to guests courtesy of Betamalt, Munch it and Daraju makers of MyMy toothpaste and other household items.
‘Mumble Jumble’ is an awesome thriller that is hip-hop driven. It is enlightening, entertaining and impactful. Teaching hope to the young generation and how to conquer low self esteem by believing in oneself.
Koffi pulls out another alter ego from his bag of numerous characters as he plays Soji aka Rapper Tapper, a struggling failed rapper who tries to get back in the game. Encouraged by his girlfriend and long time manager, they discover new ways to revamp his brand.
He battles through different odds; a nagging mother, a crafty record label boss, a mischievous lady amongst other ordeals that almost gets him killed. He survives and this makes him stronger and more determined.
Other players in Mumble Jumble include award-winning actress Omowunmi Dada, Baba Dee, Seun Kentebe, Bukky Thomas and introduces Catherine Bashua Alimi, Ibrahim ‘Ibro Lee’ Bakare, Kemi Michaels and a host of other fresh talents.
The movie also pulls a stunt by having cameo appearances by Eedris Abdulkareem, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Olisa Adibua,
Mc Abbey, Chigul, Tito da fire, Victoria Pepple, Lolo1, Igos, Dotun, Simi Drey, Godwin Aruwayo, W4, Sossick, BaseOne, Yokeegilla along with several other young budding acts whilst Denrele, Princess, Efa Iwara, Mc Prince Hyenana play guest features as Bovi and Sound Sultan appear on a music video feature.
