Popular Nigerian artiste, Davido, has been revealed to have gone bankrupt during one of his trips to the United States (U.S.). Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo a.k.a. KOO, made the revelation in her tweets that the Osun State-born singer eventually got broke after paying $15m for radio airplay in the U.S.
Her tweets read: “Davido paid $15m to many U.S. urban radio stations to play his songs on a 60- day media tour.
Reports say Olunloyo and Davido have been quarreling for some time now after the journalist claimed to be classmate with Davido’s father.
For that reason, she said the musician does not have rights to disrespect her on social media.
Recall that Olunloyo had in January demanded an apology after accusing the singer of sexually harassing her on twitter.
