Burna Boy
The annual celebration of Fela’s birthday came to an end Sunday night amidst tip-top stage shiwmanship by such acts as Burns Boy, Wizkid and Kenyan import, Sauti Sol among others.
The 2017 edition of the annual celebration of the late Afrobeat legend faded out with a spectacular end on Sunday night, amidst performances.
The weeklong event had started on the 9th and ended on the 15th of October- Fela’s birthday. He would have been 79.
Still basking in the euphoria of his sold out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Wizkid made his first appearance at a Nigerian concert this year. His performance was met with cheers from an excited crowd.
Burna Boy also took the stage as did many others, including Tekno, Ycee, Oritsefemi and Kenyan group, Sauti Sol.
