Eedris Abdulkareem
While some if his peers are striving to reinvent themselves in the business of making music that can be appealing to this age and time, veteran rapper, Eedrus Abdulkareem has busied himself with making wild comments about people.
Presently, the “Nigeria Jaga Jaga” crooner, has taken his antics to another level as he gave some not too nice words to former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.
While performing at a mini concert, the rapper took out time to blast former president Olusegun Obasanjo and present president Muhammadu Buhari. He also spoke about Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the group – Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Said he about Obasanjo: “Obasanjo na my mugu. 15 years ago I sang ‘Nigeria jaga, jaga’, Obasanjo say my papa jaga jaga. Abeg wetin dey happen for Nigeria today?”
“I thought you would have repented by now” the rapper said about President Buhari.
These bold statements are coming just weeks after the rapper granted an interview with Goldmyne TV where he berated some of his colleagues, including Timaya, 2Baba, Mr. Eazi and Davido.
In the case of Mr. Eazi, Eedris blasted the music star for saying other Nigerian artist are copying the Ghanaian style of music
“You must be a stupid man. You are a fool. Number one you sound like Ghanaians. That’s why you are accepted, that’s why you are not original but because its African music that’s why you are accepted. Who are you to say a thing like that? That’s pride”
Timaya who wasnt having of his insults, took to his Instagram page where he posted a video insulting Eedris Abdulkareem, calling him “A dirty Igbo smoker.”
