Television host, Teju Babyface, has expressed the belief that ‘doing stand up comedy was a waste of time’.
The Executive Producer and Host of the Popular television show, The Teju Babyface Show, recently made the revelation while mentoring people.

He revealed that “people need to find out what God created you for because that is the only way you will work effortlessly and get satisfaction and wealth.
“To say the truth, all the years I spent doing stand up comedy were nothing but a waste of time. It was later I found out my calling is in mentorship and teaching. That is why I am doing this now,” he revealed.

Teju Oyelakin launched his book “Secrets of the Streets” on May 19, 2017, at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Even though the book was originally released last year, Teju Babyface says he had no intention of launching it at first but the feedback from readers & well-wishers calling for a launch and public presentation was overwhelming.

In his words: “While it is my hope that the book will provide answers for many young Africans who desire to have a successful career in the entertainment industry, it is more than just a book written by that industry and will be instructive for anybody desiring success in any industry, apart from crime”.
In a sense, this is perhaps the first Nigerian journal of instruction written to creative talents.
