Dolzi
The signs of what promises to become one of the most formidable music labels in Nigeria were obvious last Saturday, June 24, 2017 when TOPS reputed as the entertainment headquarters of Nigeria unleashed yet another talented act, Dolzi from its stable with his debut EP (Extended Play) entitled Believe.
Pushed out in the CD format, Believe contains three songs which are tightly and professionally treated and packaged for the consumption of enthusiasts of sweet music. Spinning off the following cuts, Kamsiriochukwu, Chioma and Believe, the title track, the act whose talent was on display, Dolzi, makes the fifth spot on the role-call of artistes that have been unveiled to the public by TOPS Music label in the short span of its life so far.
TOPS made its foray into the scene with the release of Happy Music by Tony Okoroji, Kasi The June 12 Girl’s Ifunanya, G-Wilz Lyrically Licensed To Kill, and Kul-GP among others yet to come on stream.
In the presence of some of the best and already prominent artistes like “Rain Maker”, Majek Fashek, King Wadada, braocaster cum actor, Patrick Harry Doyle (PHD), the entertainment media of all shades, Dolzi took the floor to exhibit his art as he for the first time before the press, performed his music.
Latching onto the track, Chioma, Dolzie, dubbed The King of Melody, displayed sheer control of his vocal direction, extension and range. Belting out the song, he displayed the melodic disposition of his artistic delivery to the admiration of those in attendance.
Opening earlier with Kamsiriochukwu, Dolzi left no one in doubt that he is on the beat scene to stay for quite a long time. He later told www.beats-onit.com that he was not in a hurry to quit the scene, stating that he would give it everything to grow.
The event was a package of fun with King Wadada redering his Anthem to the appeal of everybody present.
All the TOPS stable mates were very much on hand to massively support Dolzi under the umbrella of TOP All Stars.
TOPS is the brain child of Chie Tony Okoroji, the executive producer of Believe.
